61st Sri Lankan Independence Day celebrations in California, USA organized by the Sri Lanka Consulate in Los Angeles was held in Duarte Performing Arts Center Auditorium, Duarte CA on February 08th 2009 with a full house audience.
An official ceremony was followed by a cultural show organized by Serendib Foundation for Music & Performing Arts. All the cultural program participants were members of the Sri Lankan American community in Los Angeles, which made it unique. |
